Each pack of our Artist Stickers contain 6 designs based on some of our favourite artists and pieces they have created. There are 72 stickers in total per a pack. Each sticker is 4 cm in diameter and bursting with bright colours. Use these stickers as gifts, decorations, teachable moments with children and friends, shout outs on cards you give or leave them as guerrilla gifts to be found in libraries, galleries, trains or restaurants.
In this pack you will find the following artists:
Ken Done- An Australian artist famous for his bright colourful paintings of iconic Australian images. As well as painting, Done has worked in other mediums including fashion and has had his own homewares line. His most famous works include Sunday and Me. Done was born in 1940 and currently lives with his wife in Sydney, Australia.
Leonardo da Vinci- An Italian artist known as one of ‘The Masters’, da Vinci was also an inventor and scientist in his own right. He lived in the 1400’s creating drawings, paintings and sculptures. His most famous works include The Mona Lisa and The Last Supper.
Hilma Af Klint- The first ever abstract artist, she is only truly starting to be appreciated by art historian and the public now. Af Klint was born in Sweden in the 1860’s and died in the 1940’s. During her time she painted over 1000 paintings including The Ten Largest series and the Paintings of the Temple series.
Frida Kahlo- Born in Mexico she predominantly painted self portraits the most famous of these including The Two Frida’s and Self Portrait with Necklace of Thorns. Born in 1907 she passed away in 1954 after a life that included over 32 surgeries due to a traffic accident.
Andy Warhol- An American born painter, Warhol was as famous for his contribution to the pop art movement, as he was for the company he kept and the wig he wore. Some of his most famous pieces include Campbell’s Soup Cans and Marilyn Diptych. Warhol lived from the 1920’s until the 1980’s.
Yayoi Kusama- Born in Japan in 1929 Kusama is an artist that uses a lot of different mediums including painting, drawing, film, sculpture, performance, fashion, poetry and installations. She is most famous for her repeating dot patterns and her Infinity Mirror Rooms. She currently resides in Tokyo Japan.
