I Will Not Earrings
In 2012, the opposition leader at the time, accused the current Prime Minister of Australia. Julia Gillard, of being sexist. In response, Ms Gillard gave a parliamentary speech, which became known as the misogyny speech.
“I will not’ is just a fragment of this historical speech. The bravery and passion in which is was delivered should not be forgotten as Australia tries to move towards a goal of equality.
